Magpie is a young piebald pony who came into our care as one of a group of ponies left in a field with no food, water or shelter.

When he arrived at Penny Farm he was very thin and nervous around people. He had not been looked after for a long period of time and as well as having a coat infested with lice, he also had parasites in his stomach.

After a lot of care from his groom and the specialists at Penny Farm, Magpie is now in much better health and his coat has grown back to show off his lovely markings. Magpie has gradually built up a lot of trust with the team at Penny Farm and is proving to be enthusiastic and willing in his early schooling.
