India was found in poor condition, which not only affected her but her foal at foot, Lucas, and also the foal she was expecting.

Since arriving at Hall Farm she has recovered, Lucas has been weaned, and she has given birth to a new foal called Raj. India is a protective mother but sweet natured.

Although she prefers the peace and quiet, she is becoming more sociable as a result of the attention she receives as part of her rehabilitation programme.
