The World Horse Welfare Rehomed Horse of the Year 2017 categories are:
Enter the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials People’s Choice Rehomed Superstar category and you and your horse or pony could get a chance to perform at the 4* event. As their Charity of the Year, we and the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials will feature a finalists’ parade on the Thursday of the competition.
Simply send us a short written submission of 300 words explaining why your rehomed horse or pony is a superstar. Whatever it is that makes them a superstar, we want to hear about it! Please also accompany your entry with at least two high resolution photographs of your horse or pony. Video clips can also be accepted in addition to photographs if you have these available.
A shortlist will be chosen by World Horse Welfare and the public will then vote for their champion through social media with the prize giving to take place at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials.
Rehomers wishing to enter this category must be able to travel to the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials on Thursday 31st August 2017 with their rehomed horse in order to take part in a finalist parade at Burghley in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
Is your rehomed horse or pony a mischief maker? Do their antics always put a smile on your face? Then this is the category for you!
