Head office

World Horse Welfare's Head Office is located in Snetterton, Norfolk. The charity moved its core operations from its previous London base, following the purchase of Hall Farm (Norfolk) in 1987. Fittingly, our founder, Ada Cole, was born in Norfolk, so it was a natural transition.

 

It was a bit of an architectural challenge, but the new Head office was opened on 27th May 1991, by The Rt Hon Lord Plumb.

 

The building was named Anne Colvin House after one of the charity's most staunch supporters. Anne Colvin worked at our former London office, and dedicated many years of her life to the charity.

 

The building is home to the charity's operational and support staff, while field officers and centre managers meet regularly on the premises.
