Things to do at Penny Farm:

Have a Cuppa!

Our modern coffee shop serves a variety of snacks, drinks and ice cream. We also have a picnic area, which is ideal for those warmer days. While you're in our Visitor Centre, you can find out more information about our work and how we help horses.

Meet the horses

Penny Farm is home to around 60 horses at any one time. Our volunteers will show you around and introduce you to our horses. You can even meet our adoption horse, Starsky!

Don't worry about bad weather - our stables are indoors.

Have a party

Stuck for kid’s party ideas? Our tailored parties start with a guided tour, so that you can meet the horses and ponies before a lovely lunch and a chance to groom one of our ponies.

Celebrate with us!

Every September we host our Grand Open Day, with displays by the King's Troop and The Household Cavalry, plus fairground rides, birds of prey demonstrations, a parade of World Horse Welfare horses and ponies, games and competitions. Check our What's on page for event details.
