Our People

World Horse Welfare has 150 employees, the majority of which are based at our head office in Norfolk, and four rescue and rehoming centres around Britain.

The diverse nature of the charity's operations - from rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses in Britain, through to training horseowners in developing countries and campaigning for change in legislation - means that we require a wide range of core skills across our staff and consultants. Aside from permanent staff members, we also have a number of loyal volunteers who give up their time free of charge to help the charity.

In addition, the charity's governing body, the World Horse Welfare Council, consists of a minimum of 14 trustees, who determine our overall direction and strategy.
