Affiliates

World Horse Welfare collaborates with other equine welfare organisations in countries where our training programmes operate. These include: Guatemala, Honduras, Lesotho, Mexico, Senegal, South Africa (Soweto).

 

Whether you represent an existing organisation or an individual looking for advice on establishing an equine welfare organisation, World Horse Welfare may be able to assist by providing information, training and support.

 

World Horse Welfare and The Cart Horse Protection Association

 

In conjunction with the Cart Horse Protection Association (CHPA), World Horse Welfare successfully undertook a five-year programme in Cape Town, training 69 saddlers and farriers. Having completed our training commitment in 2007, we continue to provide advice and support to CHPA through our affiliate scheme.

 

World Horse Welfare and The Soweto Equestrian Foundation

In 2010, the Soweto Equestrian Foundation was awarded affiliate status by World Horse Welfare.Since the relationship has developed, we have supported the development of additional stabling and accommodation for the students on our training courses.
