Offering horse welfare advice

World Horse Welfare can offer advice to horse owners and the public in lots of different ways. Here are just a few of the ways we can help:

 

• The Advice Line - You can call us on 01953 497238 to obtain expert advice on any horse-related topic.

• The online Horse Advice Library - You can download horse advice sheets and information on a variety of subjects.

• Roadshows - We are currently running a number of Right Weight roadshows to help horseowners to identify the right weight for their horse. However, we are also taking part in a number of events throughout the year.

• Our field officers  - Our field officers help to safeguard the future welfare of horses in this country by offering advice directly to owners.
  

 

Fortunately, deliberate cruelty is rare in the UK and most welfare situations come about through ignorance. This means that many of the situations we are called out to can be resolved through the provision of some help and advice.
