Regular Features

The Association of Animal Artists exhibit their work at Penny Farm all year round. A percentage of the artwork sold at the farm is donated to World Horse Welfare. Why not visit the farm to find out more?

 

June

 

2nd - Half Term fun - Come along to the farm and meet the ponies, join in our games and competitions and groom a pony (for a small fee). 12 - 2pm.

 

July

 

28th - The King's Troop RHA will be doing a demonstration in the outdoor school at 11.30am (subject to change). You will also be able to met Troop horses on their annual summer camp here in Blackpool.

 

August

 

Every Wednesday in August Family Fun Days - join us for fun games & activities from 11am - 3pm. There will also be an opportunity for children (age 5yrs+) to learn how to groom a pony in a short workshop run by our staff. Book on arrival (£1.50 per child).

 

September

 

11th - The Penny Farm Open Day will be held on Saturday 11th September. Starting at 10am, there will be displays by the King's Troop, featuring World Horse Welfare Penny, the Household Cavalry, Made in Lancashire craft and food stalls and there will also be a chance to meet Starsky, the farm's adoption horse. Admission is just £2 for adults and £1 for children.
