Hayley

 

 

Hayley is a 16 year old Thoroughbred mare. She came into Belwade Farm, in Scotland as part of a large welfare case. She was in very poor physical condition and to make things even more difficult for her, she was nursing a foal.

 

 

 

 

Once she arrived at the Rescue and Rehoming Centre she was put on a Rehabilitation Programme and has made an excellent recovery. We are pleased to say that in January, Hayley went out on loan with a new family as a hack. Hayley’s foal Lizzie is also out on loan and doing really well.

 

 

 

 

Basil, the frozen pony after nearly a year at Hall Farm. Basil was found in a terrible state, half his normal bodyweight and frozen to his very core. With the dedicated care of our staff, basil is now back to full health.
