Toytown's story

Toytown was chosen to represent our work with horses in sport.

Toytown: the story behind the sculpture

This sculpture is a tribute to our Patron Zara Tindall's beloved horse, the eventing world champion and gold medal winning Toytown. The design created for him is a town of toys, set in a nursery. The sculpture also highlights World Horse Welfare's role as a welfare advisor to the FEI.

Zara is a patron of World Horse Welfare and actively supports many charities. Zara is very much at the forefront of British eventing and has ridden for Great Britain many times, and was crowned European and World Champion on Toytown. Rob Williams is a cartoonist, caricaturist and digital artist, who has helped some of artists realise their horse sculpture designs.
