Remember us in your Will with a lasting gift to horses

Leaving a legacy in your Will is a great way to show how much you care about horses. Even a relatively small legacy will help us to improve the lives of horses in desperate need, in the UK and overseas.

Gifts left to us in Wills are vital in allowing us to continue with our work - legacies make up more than half of our annual income. Wherever there are horses in need, a legacy can give each one of them a second chance to lead a happy and useful life.  A gift from you in your Will enables us to help many more horses like Wilma:

What do I do now?

We recommend that you talk to your solicitor who will be able to help you with every aspect of leaving a gift in your Will.  If you have already left a gift in your Will to World Horse Welfare - thank you. If you wish to tell us about your intentions, then this would help us to plan ahead and we would also welcome the chance to acknowledge your kindness. We want to keep you in regular contact with our work, hopefully in person through a visit to one of our centres.

We promise to keep any details that you pass to us confidential and seek to reassure you that they are in no way legally binding. We understand that the size or type of legacy is a personal matter.

If you have made your Will and wish to add World Horse Welfare, this is a simple process and can be done by writing a Codicil.  Your solicitor is the best person to advise you when making or updating your Will.

World Horse Welfare is registered as a charity in England and Wales and Scotland.  Our registered charity numbers are: England and Wales: 206658 and Scotland: SC038384
