Meet Major

Major is looking for a new home as a non ridden companion. He is good to do in all ways but is looking for a quiet home where he can relax into life and where he has an established routine with a rehomer who he can form a bond with. He is a wonderful equine and human friend. Major will need restricted grazing to prevent laminitis and obesity and could live out 24/7 or stable part time if needed.

Important stuff

Major can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Major is not suitable to be worked.

History

Major came in to our care in September 2017 with another gelding as a welfare concern. Sadly, they were overweight and had very overgrown feet. They had also received little handling.
