Tsar
Meet Tsar
Tsar is a striking horse with a lot of charisma. He is a friendly boy who loves fuss and attention. However, he can be a bit quirky so he will definitely require an experienced, confident handler. Tsar does worry inwardly and it is at these times he doesn't always stop to think where his handler is standing before he reacts. Tsar needs a handler to reassure him but also set the boundaries as required. Tsar is a big, strong horse and he can be challenging as bad habits allowed to develop in the early stages could prove difficult to change in the future. He gets on with others in his field where he is normally in the middle of the pecking order and quite playful. He can be a little intimidating to any nervous horses so probably needs a companion who can hold his own if required. Tsar doesn't have a bad bone in his body and he is just a big clumsy baby! Once in a routine and with regular handling, Tsar is a genuine horse with a lot to offer. Tsar's conformation makes him unsuitable for ridden work.
Important stuff
Tsar can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Tsar is not suitable to be worked.
History
Tsar's mother was a prosecution case and pregnant on arrival at Hall Farm. Tsar was born at Hall Farm in March 2018, his mother is a 16.0hh Percheron. Tsar was recently returned from loan due to becoming quite dominant towards his nervous companion.
