Meet Delta

Delta is a loveable gelding who is full of character. He is a sociable young lad who enjoys the company of others and can be playful with his friends. Delta is generally good to handle when settled and in a routine and really enjoys human interaction. He requires a confident and firm handler that can give him clear boundaries to help maintain his good manners. Delta can get anxious in new situations and looks to his handler for guidance and reassurance. Delta could potentially be backed to ride if the rehomer has previous experience of this, although he would only be suitable as a light hack. He woud not be suitable for jumping or dressage. If ridden Delta will have a maximum rider weight limit of 10.5 to 11 stones. We are equally happy for him to find a home as a non-riddden companion as he is part trotter pacer. Delta is not the best traveller and any rehomer should be aware he must always travel with company and ideally on short journeys only. We are looking for a local home within 20 miles or under 1 hours travel time of Hall Farm.

History

Delta arrived at Hall Farm in May 2019 as part of a large welfare case where the horses were underweight, unhandled and living in unsuitable conditions. At the time of his arrival Delta was an unhandled foal.
