Meet Nesj El Shaqeel

Shaqeel is a really sweet boy who enjoys human interaction but he is quite a sensitive soul and easily unsettled. He will need a home with a consistent routine as he hates change. He needs time to adjust to new situations so any rehomer must be incredibly patient and understanding of this. Although he can come across as quite a flighty character, Shaqeel is a loving horse who looks to his handler for reassurance. In a quiet home with not much changing he could blossom as his confidence grows. Shaqeel tends to form a close attachment to just one horse so although he is settled in a herd now, he does seem to prefer a one on one relationship with others. Shaqeel would suit a quiet yard sharing with another possibly retired horse who will always be there. He was castrated late in life so he can only mix with geldings. He would also prefer living out as he was constantly stabled in the past, but he will stable if he is next to his companion and it is introduced very gradually.
