Meet Bruce

Bruce is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He was recently returned through no fault of his own. Bruce is a lovely little pony, with lots of character. He was gelded late, so can only be turned out with geldings. Bruce gets on well with others, and is good to handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He can be a little timid to catch at times, so he currently has his headcollar left on in the field. Bruce needs his grazing restricted all year round, so is best suited to a home with equines of similar needs, and he will stay on his own in a stable while another pony is taken out. If you can offer Bruce a home, please apply online.

Headshot of Bruce

Important stuff

Bruce can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Bruce is not suitable to be worked.

History

Bruce came into Penny Farm after he was found being kept in unsuitable conditions. He was entire and underweight on arrival.
