Meet Arlo

We are looking for a new non ridden companion home for Arlo who, despite his very poor start in life, is a gentle, inquisitive soul. He was successfully rehomed and only returned due to a change in the rehomers equine numbers. Due to his poor developmental issues, we are looking for a quiet home with one or two gentle equine influences who can guide him as he matures. Arlo is excellent to handle and currently lives out, coming in some days for a sleep and a groom. He is good to stable, if this was part of a routine and could have normal grazing with equines on the same management as him. He is also fed a balancer daily to give him some extra vitamins and minerals.

Important stuff

Arlo can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Arlo is not suitable to be worked.

History

Arlo was brought in to our care in January 2024 following a welfare concern. He was underweight and under developed. Arlo was successfully rehomed and only returned due to his rehomers circumstances changing
