Meet Brynhaul Northern Lights (Kaiser)

Big lad Brynhaul Northern Lights (Kaiser) is now looking for an experienced home as an active hacking horse due to hock arthritis. Kaiser is a sweet lad who loves human attention: wherever you are, Kaiser is. He enjoys coming in and having a long pamper session and is well behaved for the vet and farrier. He can get a bit strong to lead at times, this is mainly when he is hungry and is trying to get to some food. He had his hocks medicated in April and has been ridden up to 4 days every week since June. Kaiser does not like going out on his own and can be reluctant to go forward so he is happiest with a friend, but his solo hacking could be worked on whilst out at his new home. He enjoys going for a leisurely walk or a fun walk/trot/canter hack exploring the woods. Kaiser will be looking for a competent rider as he mainly takes his confidence from his rider and can get strong with the bit if he feels unsure. His maximum rider weight is 100kg. Kaiser can be stabled part time if needed, but is better out 24/7 as his legs can start to fill if he is standing in for too long. He is currently living out 24/7 with no restrictions and he wears a rug in the worst of the weather. If you think that Kaiser sounds like the one for you, please apply online.
