Fozzie is generally a very easy going, well mannered pony. He is good to catch, handle and lead. However it is important that Fozzie goes to an experienced home with a calm handler. Although he does need firm handling at times, ultimately he just needs someone who will be kind and patient and willing to take the time to understand him. Fozzie worries inwardly and his anxiety sometimes presents as bargy behaviour. This can easily lead to him being misunderstood but he is not remotely a rude or bad mannered boy. Fozzie is looking for a quiet home with a regular routine where he can relax and feel secure. He is a lovely boy who will form a close bond with the right person.
Fozzie can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Fozzie is not suitable to be worked.
Fozzie came to Hall Farm in October 2013 as part of a large group of horses. They had no grazing, unsuitable food (mouldy bread) and their feet were in an over grown state. Fozzie has previously been out in a loan home for a number of years.
