Meet Flick
Flick is ready to rehome as a ridden pony. Flick is more of a second pony as she is quite forward and enjoys her work, and so is not suitable for a novice or unconfident rider. She is very safe, and has been hacked out around our local bridleway with no problems. She works well in the school and has jumped round a course of show jumps and cross country in her previous home which she excels at. Flick thrives off her work so we are looking for a home where she will be ridden regularly, and have variety in her work as she really loves to get out and about. Flick has had mild laminitis in the past, so it is important that her weight is managed and her grass intake restricted accordingly. She gets on well with others, and is currently living out in a mixed herd, but will happily come into a stable if needed. She is good for the vet and farrier and to bath. Flick has a maximum rider weight limit of 7 stone. If you can offer Flick a home, please apply online.
Important stuff
Flick can be ridden.
History
Flick arrived at Penny Farm as an 8 week old foal in 2016, following a call to our welfare line. She was with her mother and two other ponies. Our field officer found them to be underweight with overgrown feet, they were also infested with lice. Flick was previously successfully rehomed and has only recently returned from loan.
