Why we need your help
Why we need your support to help horses this winter
Clyde was so emaciated when he came into our care last year that our team had to put a duvet under his stable rug to prevent his bones rubbing and causing sores. Thanks to generous supporters like you, Clyde has been transformed so completely that he was crowned Reserve Champion Rescue Pony at national showing competition Equifest this year.
At our centres, we don’t just see emaciated horses like Clyde. We’re now seeing a worrying rise in cases of dangerously obese horses like Thruppence, large groups of horses such as the one Finley was found in, and abandoned youngsters like Elf, horses whose lives have been blighted by abuse, neglect, or simply by ignorance.
Each case presents its own set of challenges, but no matter what their start in life has been, with your support we hope to give every horse the chance to have a happy and healthy future. Could you spare a few pounds to help more horses like Clyde this winter?
