Local Field Officers
Our team of 16 field officers makes over 2,500 initial and follow-up visits to welfare concerns every year as well as checking on our rehomed horses.

Our Field Officers help thousands of horses every year, and hundreds of these will come into our centres.

Every horse that comes into our care is looked after by the dedicated and experienced teams at our four UK Rescue and Rehoming Centres.

In serious, deliberate or prolonged welfare cases we will work with other organisations to consider prosecution of the owner.

We collaborate with the charity Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) on a scheme to help formerly-raced Thoroughbreds found in vulnerable situations.
