Vulnerable horses urgently need your help 

The suffering you saw on our TV advert is real. 

Across the UK, hundreds of horses are facing neglect, hunger and hardship. Every day, our Field Officers encounter horses living without enough food, shelter or basic care. Many are suffering out of sight, with no one else to turn to. 

Among those horses were Tiger Lily and the fragile little Peter Pan, who were part of a neglected group of ponies that were underweight, unwell and living in appalling conditions. 

When our Field Officer reached Tiger Lily, Peter Pan and the other ponies, they were confronted by a truly distressing scene. Tiger Lily and Peter Pan had been separated from the rest of the group and confined to cramped enclosures hidden beneath tarpaulin. All the ponies were painfully thin, and so desperately hungry that they had eaten the bark from the trees. Frightened, vulnerable and neglected, they urgently needed help. 

Thanks to donations from compassionate people like you, we were able to step in and give them the care they needed. But there are many more horses still waiting for help.
