Fundraising Marketing Officer

Do you want your job to feel exciting again? If you’re a highly motivated, experienced fundraiser looking for a new challenge in an ambitious and friendly team then look no further.  

The individual giving team is responsible for driving sustainable growth through donor engagement, stewardship and acquisition. Could you be the newest member of our team? We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Marketing Officer to join us as we approach our centenary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in not-for-profit fundraising marketing and a passion for leveraging stories to drive fundraising success. This role requires a creative thinker, a data-driven approach, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

The successful candidate will join a busy, friendly, and capable team working to maximise the charity’s fundraising performance. We work with leading fundraising specialists throughout the UK to refine our approach and deliver outstanding results for one of the UK’s leading animal welfare charities.

Location

This position is based remotely. But you must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist with the effective and efficient daily maintenance of the farmland and buildings, grassland and field margins at our equine rescue and rehoming centre Hall Farm in Snetterton. 

Ideally you will have experience in all areas of general maintenance including fencing, fertilising and tractor driving; training is available where required.  You will be organised with the ability to work on your own initiative, possess a flexible approach to work and the willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.

This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Maintenance handy person

Penny Farm, Blackpool

Salary: £15,300 per annum 24 hours per week

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist the Maintenance Supervisor with the general upkeep of the paddocks and buildings, and field margins at our horse rescue and rehoming centre Penny Farm in Blackpool. 

This is the perfect job for you if you enjoy working outdoors in beautiful countryside.  You need to be flexible in your willingness and ability to undertake a range of tasks including general repairs, fencing and tractor driving; training is available where required. 

This is a part-time role offering 24 hours per week worked flexibly over 3 days.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our rehabilitation and rehoming centre Glenda Spooner Farm in Somerton, Somerset for a full time groom. As part of your role you will have the opportunity to work alongside our specialist grooms, vets, physio and farrier with support towards continued learning and personal development. 

We are looking for an individual who is willing and able to undertake normal daily yard duties as well as be responsible for a dedicated list of horses undergoing rehabilitation.  Ideally you will have previous experience of working on a professional yard and be competent and confident in handling a range of horses including youngsters.  The ability to work methodically with a sense of humour and people skills are essential.  

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week.  Weekend working will be necessary.  

Free shared staff accommodation may be available for the right candidate.

We are looking for an experienced Cafe Supervisor who enjoys cooking. Your role will be integral in creating a delightful experience for our visitors while supporting event catering and ensuring high standards of food service. You’ll work closely with management to plan and deliver exceptional meals, reflecting our commitment to quality and sustainability. 

  • Belwade Farm, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire – part time, 24 hours per week.
  • Hall Farm, Snetterton, Norfolk – part time, 20 hours per week.

Weekend working will be necessary and if taken on as a job-share this would be on a rota basis.
