Meet Priya

Priya is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion due to a poor action behind. Priya came to us completely unhandled and her groom has worked incredibly hard to gain her confidence and trust. She has turned into a lovely little pony, who likes a fuss. She has taken part in the groom a pony sessions with children here at the farm and was very well behaved. Priya can be taken out for inhand walks and do some inhand groundwork/agility to give her variety in her day and to help with her weight as she gets older. Priya is good to catch, handle and groom. She is also good for the vet and farrier, but may just need a treat for the first few times until she is settled into her new home. Priya gets on well with others in her herd but doesn't allow herself to be pushed around. She will need her weight watching in the Spring/Summer months as she gets older, so a home with equines of similar needs would be great for her. Priya will also stay on her own in a stable while another pony is taken out, but this would need to be introduced gradually in a new home. If you can offer Priya a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Priya can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Priya is not suitable to be worked.
