Join us for a spectacular launch event for our exciting new club for young equestrian enthusiasts – Stable Squad! This exciting event is at our Somerset Rescue and Rehoming Centre, Glenda Spooner Farm with VIP guests, Esme Higgs, creator of the YouTube channel ‘This Esme’ and her rehomed World Horse Welfare pony, Duke!
Be the FIRST to join our Stable Squad and enjoy a fun-packed day, including:

- Watch Esme’s exclusive demonstration
- Enjoy a behind the scenes tour of our Rescue and Rehoming Centre
- Cheer on your favourite pony in our Rescue Pony Agility Derby
- Discover how our grooms change the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected horses
- Hear about real life rescue stories from our Field Officers
- Befriend the horses, ponies and foals in our care (who love to pose for the camera!)
About the day:
- 10:00 am: Open
- 10:30 am – 11:30 am – Esme meet and greet 1
- 12:00 pm – 13:00 pm – Esme meet and greet 2
- 13:15 pm – 13:45 pm – World Horse Welfare Demonstration
- 14:00 pm – 15:00 pm – Esme meet and greet 3
- 15:30 pm – 16:00 pm– Esme Demonstration
- 16:00 pm: Event finishes
A tempting selection of food and drink will be available to buy throughout the day.
‘This Esme’ merchandise will also be on sale ready for Esme to sign.
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, including wet weather gear, sunhats and sunscreen (our wonderful English weather could throw anything at us!) as most of the event will be held outside on a working farm.

How do I book my tickets?
You can book your tickets quickly and easily via our event ticket form.
All tickets must be purchased in advance as tickets will not be available to buy on the day.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult ticket holder for the duration of the event.
Once you have booked, you will receive an email. This is your ticket, and you will be required to show it on the day as proof of purchase (either a printout or on your mobile phone).
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If you cannot attend (even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control) a refund or exchange cannot be guaranteed. However, we are always keen to help if possible so please email stablesquad@worldhorsewelfare.org with any questions.
