Kinkell Edelle
Meet Kinkell Edelle
Lovely little Edelle is now looking to find a new home as a small child's lead rein pony. She originally came in back in 2019 as part of a welfare concern. She is a laid-back Shetland who enjoys coming in for a pamper and jaunts around the farm whilst saying hello to our visitors on her way. She was rehomed as a project pony and backed out on loan where she was a small child's lead rein, Edelle adores children and is a brilliant family pony. She has been going for in hand walks as she needed to lose some weight and is now ready to find her next little jockey who will absolutely adore her. Though Edelle will wear a bridle, she does not like the bit pressure so is exclusively lead off her head collar and is very well behaved. Edelle will need her feet carefully monitored by a farrier, due to their confirmation, to make sure that she is kept comfortable. With her feet and size Edelle has a maximum rider weight limit of 5 stone. Edelle will also require a home with restricted grazing as she gains weight easily. She is very naughty with temporary electric fencing and is not respectful of it so will only go to a home with secure fencing as she would be a high risk for laminitis if she was escaping regularly. Edelle enjoys the company of her field mates but is not suited to living with a larger horse due to her size and grazing requirements. If you think Edelle would be the perfect pony to join your family, please apply for her online.
