Meet Dun With You (Peach)

Pretty Peaches is now looking for a hack only home, due to weak hind limb suspensory ligaments, which means she cannot cope with schooling work or jumping. Peach was backed at the end of 2024 after some extensive strengthening groundwork and then in January 2025 she moved onto consistent ridden work. Peaches is now confidently hacking out 4 - 6 times a week in walk and trot both alone and in company and has recently started to add in canter work. She thoroughly enjoys going out exploring and is looking for a confident, experienced small adult rider (must be 18+) who is looking for a fun and active hacking pony. Peaches can at times be spooky and sharp when ridden and will require her rider to reassure her at times. Due to this and the fact Peaches is still young and green, she will not be suitable for a novice or nervous rider. As she does have suspensory issues, Peach's maximum rider weight will be 72kg. Peaches loves people and is great to catch and lead, although she can be strong to lead at times. Peaches is good to handle and groom, although can get quite sensitive when in season, so the rehomer will need to be aware of this when she has other horses around her. She is well behaved for all her vet and farrier visits and is shod all round. Peaches is shod all round to provide additional support for her suspensorys and the shoes will need to remain on whilst out on loan to maintain her soundness. Peaches can live out 24/7 but will need her grazing restricted all year, as she is a particularly good doer, but she can stable part time if needed. Peaches likes to be in charge when in the field and can guard food sources when its heavily restricted. She is currently on mare only turn out and can be aggressive towards geldings both in the field and when ridden so mixed turn out would need to be introduced carefully and slowly. If you think that Peaches sounds like the hack for you, please apply online.
Important stuff
Dun With You (Peach) can be ridden.
History
Peaches came into World Horse Welfare care in September 2019 as part of a welfare case. She arrived with nine other ponies and was very nervous on arrival. Peaches was weaned at Belwade Farm and was then rehomed for youngster handling.
