Meet Friars Di Caprio

Handsome Di Caprio is now looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Di Carprio is a very sociable pony who loves the company of both friends and people. He is a good boy to catch and enjoys coming in for a pamper session and cuddle. Di Carprio is good for the vet and farrier, but can sometimes struggle a little staying balanced when having his hind feet done, due to hind leg confirmation. He is happy to be stabled as long as he can see some friends near by and is looking for a home with gelding only friends of a similar size who also need their grazing restricted. If you think he will fit in well with your herd, please apply online.

Important stuff

Friars Di Caprio can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Friars Di Caprio is not suitable to be worked.

History

Di Caprio came into World Horse Welfare care in September 2019. He was one of a group of ten ponies that came in as a welfare case.
