Meet George

Gorgeous George is now looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. George is a very straight forward easy going gelding, who is a pleasure to handle in every way, including with the vet, farrier and dentist. He is a very sociable gelding who loves to chat away to his friends when leading in and out of the field. We feel that George has the potential to be left alone in a stable or field, if he has friends over the fence, whilst his companion is out, however he is known to shout a bit when they are gone. George is looking for a gelding only home and is happy to live out 24/7 but will also happily stable if needed. He will need his grazing restricted in the summer months as he can gain weight easily, so he will be looking for friends who also have similar needs to him. Important stuff

George can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that George is not suitable to be worked.

History

George came into World Horse Welfare care in 2010 as part of a welfare case.
