Kambi (Indy)
Meet Kambi (Indy)
Kambi is a kind mare who gets on well with her companions. She will require an experienced, calm handler as she can get a bit anxious at times, although on the whole she is generally good to do. Kambi has a tendency towards scabby legs in her feathers and these will need treating as required. Fortunately she happily accepts this if they are not allowed to get too sore. Kambi makes an ideal companion to a ridden horse as she has the potential to stay on her own for short periods when her companion is taken out for exercise. However, potential rehomers should be aware this must be introduced gradually to get her accustomed to it.
Important stuff
Kambi (Indy) can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Kambi (Indy) is not suitable to be worked.
History
Kambi was previously owned by an equine charity that had to close down, leaving several horses that needed to be rehomed. She has since been rehomed by us but was recently returned from loan due to a change in her rehomer's circumstances.
