Meet Sisu

Pretty little Sisu is now looking of her new home as a youngster. Sisu was born on the farm and has been handled from day one so is super confident and loves being around people. Sisu is great to catch, and leads well alone or alongside others. As she is still quite young everything new around her is still so interesting, but she will stand happily tied up for short periods of time to have a groom. Sisu is well behaved for the vet and farrier, who currently has her feet on a 4-6 week trimming cycle, to make sure she develops correctly. Sisu is currently 11hh and we estimate her height to be around 12.2hh when fully grown. When she is older, she will need assessing by a vet before she can start the backing process. If she can undertake ridden work in future she will only be able to carry a rider that is 15% of her ideal body weight. Sisu loves the company of friends her size and due to her age she does not like to be left alone. She will need her grazing restricted in spring and summer and her weight monitored appropriately during the summer months.
