Blitzen
Meet Blitzen
Blitzen is looking for a home as a companion with potential. She is a super sweet pony who is always the first over to see you in the field and check out what might be tasty to eat in your pocket. Blitzen was successfully rehomed as a youngster originally from our Norfolk centre but, when she returned, she came in to Glenda Spooner Farm instead. She has taken everything in her stride and is very good to handle. Blitzen would love a home with one or more ponies on the same restricted grazing management to manage her weight. She may be able to live with a well behaved gelding, if introduced gradually. She will stable quietly part time and could potentially learn to stay on her own if another horse was ridden although, time would be needed to allow her to settle in to her new home first. She is a companion with potential, due to poor conformation but, if someone wanted to take her out in hand or work on some strengthening, she could potentially make a quiet hack for a small rider. Anyone who wanted to do this would need to have experience of strengthening ponies towards backing and bringing them on. She would definitely suit a home where she gets some attention and would make a lovely addition to an established equine family. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BLITZEN WOULD HAVE A MAXIMUM RIDER WEIGHT OF 7 STONE
Important stuff
Blitzen could be worked in the future.
History
Blitzen was found with four other foals who were all in very poor condition. Sadly she was the only foal that survived.
