Our work with Governments

World Horse Welfare works around the world to put working equines higher up the agenda, taking a practical approach to all that we do. We strongly believe that improving equine welfare directly leads to improving the lives of those that rely upon them. 

Using research to evidence our campaigns we highlight the role of equines to families and communities’ livelihoods. We know that working equines will still be needed for vital work for many years to come, but there is so much we can do now to help to strengthen the horse-human relationship around the world.
