Our work with Schools

We work in partnership with local schools in our project countries to promote education to equine-owning communities through school enrolment as well as to introduce animal welfare into curricula. 

Using interactive activities such as role plays and games, we encourage children to learn about empathy and care that all animals – including working equids – deserve. We teach them the basics of looking after their families’ equine and help them to understand the importance of treating them well.
