" This age of disposable things should not apply to animals. If anyone can take a horse, or knows someone who can, please consider rehoming a horse from World Horse Welfare. "

Welcome to Rehome a Horse

The following horses and ponies are a selection of those available for rehoming.

If there is nothing suitable at the time of your search you would be very welcome to contact us directly on 01953 497238 or by calling or visiting one of our Rescue and Rehoming Centres.

You are also welcome to monitor this site, which is updated every Wednesday afternoon – however, for a variety of reasons not all horses will be listed on the website prior to rehoming, although the majority will be.

If you find a suitable horse on this site, please submit an online application which will go directly to the relevant Rescue and Rehoming Centre for consideration.

Please note that in situations where we have numerous potentially suitable applications for the same horse, we may give priority to those applications which were received soonest.

For more information on how our rehoming scheme works, please follow the links on the left-hand menu. - See more here.

Horse of the Week: Jack

Since Jacks arrival at Glenda Spooner Farm he has really gained in confidence. He was so nervous when he arrived and fearful of people that it took months of intense handling for him to trust. Once at this point, Jack has not looked back and is happy to greet you in the field, although still with a bit of caution. He makes an excellent field companion and recently he has been babysitting a newly weaned colt as well as several other field friends. It would be ideal to find him a home with an adult handler where he can have daily handling in a quiet environment and with someone who would love to see this great little pony grow even more in confidence. Even if he only does the job of companion pony he will benefit from all that extra love and attention. Jack really does deserve to find a loving home soon.
