Welcome to Rehome a Horse

The following horses and ponies are a selection of those available for rehoming.

If there is nothing suitable at the time of your search you would be very welcome to contact us directly on 01953 497238 or by calling or visiting one of our Rescue and Rehoming Centres.

You are also welcome to monitor this site, which is updated every Wednesday afternoon – however, for a variety of reasons not all horses will be listed on the website prior to rehoming, although the majority will be.

If you find a suitable horse on this site, please submit an online application which will go directly to the relevant Rescue and Rehoming Centre for consideration.

Please note that in situations where we have numerous potentially suitable applications for the same horse, we may give priority to those applications which were received soonest.

For more information on how our rehoming scheme works, please follow the links on the left-hand menu. - See more here.

Horse of the Week: Lynbrie Brenhins (Bren)

The wonderful Lynbrie Brenhins (Bren) is seeking a home as a non-ridden companion. Although Bren is not suitable to become a ridden pony due to a history of low grade hind-limb lameness, she is able to do low intensity in-hand work, such as showing, horse agility or walking out around country lanes with her new friends! Bren is a young mare, who was in a poor condition with very little knowledge of the big wide world when she arrived at Glenda Spooner Farm. She has gradually gained condition and has learned to enjoy being handled by the grooms here. As a youngster Bren will need someone to continue her education with new experiences, she is currently learning to have her feet hosed- this is apparently quite scary at times! Even when worried Bren will stay close to Sammy, her groom, as they have built a strong bond, with Bren putting her trust in Sammy as she teaches her about these new ‘life-experiences’. Bren loves to be groomed, and although she is still learning to stand quietly in a stable when away from her friends, she listens to Sammy and tries her best to please. Bren is a registered Section D Welsh Cob, her good looks compliment her sweet nature both in and out of the field. She is kind and tolerant towards the other youngsters in her group, and knows her place within her herd. If you can provide Bren with the loving home she deserves please make an application here today.
