We spend a lot of our time when managing horses thinking about what they eat and prevention of serious health conditions such as colic or gastric ulcers. In this episode of Horses Explained, Nicole is joined by equine vet and dental specialist Stuart Altoft, and Dr Simon Daniels from the Royal Agricultural University. They will discuss the complex system that is the horse’s digestive system, from the importance of good dental health to how organs such as the caecum function, and how to manage horses to promote good gut health.
