Meet Latte

Latte is ready to rehome as a pleasure/competition pony. Latte is not a novice ride and requires a very experienced and competent rider. She would be better suited to an older teenager or light weight adult. She is ridden up to 5 days a week either in the arena and/or out hacking around our farm tracks. She is established in all three paces and has popped round a course of small jumps. She has also been taken out to our local bridleway hacking and to our local show. Latte is not one for standing still, and likes to get on with what she is doing, and so needs a confident and capable rider to bring the best out in her. She is currently living out with shelter within a group of mares, but has mixed with geldings before and comes in most days. She gets on well with others, but tends to be higher up in the pecking order. She is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She requires her weight watching most of the year so a home with equines of similar needs would be ideal for her, and she doesn't like being left on her own. Her maximum rider weight limit is 9 stone. If you can offer Latte a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Latte can be ridden.

History

Latte came to Hall Farm in 2020 as part of a large welfare concern of over 100 unhandled horses and ponies. There was a multi-agency approach involving various charities to reduce the numbers and resolve the welfare issues.
