Meet Hilltop Tilly

Tilly is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. Tilly has previously been rehomed for a number of years and was returned through no fault of her own. She is an incredibly friendly, laid back pony, who is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She loves lots of attention and fuss and she gets on really well with others, whether it's mares or gelding, older or younger; she is a very good nanny horse as well as she has such a calm nature. Tilly doesn't like being out 24/7 and is best on a routine where she can be stabled at night and out during the day, so we would be looking for a home where she can be kept in this routine. In the summer on nicer nights, she would be able to stay out overnight. Tilly needs her weight watching, more so through the spring/summer months, so she would be best suited to a home with equines who need a similar routine as she doesn't like being left on her own. Hilltop Tilly can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Hilltop Tilly is not suitable to be worked.

History

Tilly arrived at Penny Farm underweight and in foal. She had a healthy filly foal shortly after arriving.
