Meet Blu-Boi

Blu-Boi is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding ridden work. He is a lovely, easy going pony, who is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He gets on very well with others, and is currently living out with a group of geldings with shelter, but he will happily come into a stable. He shows a bit too much interest in mares, so will need a home where he will be turned out with geldings only. He needs his weight watching all year round, and would be better suited to a home with equines of similar needs so he can fit into the same routine. He is a great little pony, and will stand for hours to be fussed over. If you can offer Blu-Boi a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Blu-Boi can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Blu-Boi is not suitable to be worked.

History

Blu-Boi came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case in 2019.
