Azlan

Meet Azlan

Azlan is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding work. He is a lovely pony, with a bold, inquisitive personality, but does have a sensitive side to him. He gets on well with others, and is currently living out on restricted grazing with shelter, but will stable for weight management as well. He is good to catch, handle, groom and bath, and for the vet and farrier. Although Azlan can't be ridden/driven, he would enjoy doing inhand ground work such as inhand agility and inhand walks to give him variety and help with his weight. Azlan does have mild sweet itch, for which he wears a fly rug in the spring/summer months and is treated with topical treatments. If you can offer Azlan a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Azlan can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Azlan is not suitable to be worked.

History

Azlan came to Penny Farm in January 2014. He was extremely underweight, with overgrown feet and with a very matted coat.
