Lucy
Meet Lucy
Despite a tough start Lucy is a sweet little thing who survived against the odds. Rejected by her mother at only a few hours old it was not a warm welcome into the world. She had to be tried with several ponies at Hall Farm before finding a mare prepared to accept her and even then she had to play second fiddle to the other foal. However, she has blossomed into a delightful little filly with a sweet nature. She is generally good to handle as she loves people and getting attention. Although Lucy has been taught very basic handling it is vital she has the right guidance as she is a quick learner and will pick up bad habits as easily as the good ones. We are looking for a home with previous experience of foals or youngsters to continue Lucy's education along the right lines. Depending on how she develops as she matures, Lucy could become a lead rein pony for a small child only in the future. Whatever direction her path takes her, solely a non ridden companion or as a potential lead rein pony, Lucy will be a delight to have around.
Important stuff
Lucy could be worked in the future.
History
Lucy came to Hall Farm in May 2023 when she was less than 48 hours old. Her mother is a feral Konik pony living on a conservation area. Unfortunately Lucy was rejected by her mother and had no chance of survival without intervention.
