Meet Kesha

Kesha is now ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion due to not standing up to ridden work. Kesha is a lovely little pony, who enjoys a fuss, but prefers a one to one setting, so therefore, we would be looking for a home on a private yard, rather than a livery yard. She is better to handle when only one or two of the same people are handling her every day, and she is better suited to a home with adults only. She is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. Kesha gets on well with others, and will happily mix with mares or geldings. She is prone to weight gain, so will need her weight watching all year round, and would be better suited to a home with equines of similar needs. Kesha has the potential to be left on her own in a stable while another horse is taken out, but this would need to be introduced gradually. If you can offer Kesha a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Kesha can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Kesha is not suitable to be worked.

History

Kesha came into Penny Farm after she was found living in unsuitable conditions.
