Meet Bella (Pippa)

Lovely Bella (Pippa) is now looking for her new home as a non-ridden companion. Pippa is a very sweet little mare who will happily come in for a groom and cuddles and we feel that she would be well behaved around children too. She is very good for the vet, farrier and dentist. Pippa can get a little unsettled when she is settling into her new environment, so she may be unwilling to catch at first and can put her ears back and keep you near her back end. Her groom has said she has always felt safe when she does, as it seems to just be more of an intimidation tactic than an actual threat as a few treats soon win her round, but this it is just something the new rehomer would need to be aware of. Once settled she is very good to catch and is often known to let out a little nicker to her groom now when she sees her. She will happily stand in a stable and may also stay on her own for short periods of time if introduced slowly, whilst her friend is out. Pippa will be looking for a new home with friends who will also need their grazing restricted during the summer months, and weight monitored in the winter. Due to her age she does have quite worn down back molars, so she may struggle a little with hay during the winter months, but otherwise the dentist is happy with her teeth and she is still on a yearly dentist visit. If you think that Pippa sounds like the one for you, please apply online.
