Meet Valka

Pretty little Valka is now looking for her new home as a non-ridden companion, due to arthritis in her knee. Little Valka likes to live life in the slow lane and is more than happy to spend her days wondering around her field with friends, munching on grass. Valka is looking for a home with other laid back ponies, as being pushed around or doing too much additional exercise can affect her arthritis. She is great to catch and lead and loves the company of people, so will happily stand all day for a pamper. Valka is good for the vet and will happily stand for the farrier with some reassurance of someone at her head. Being a good doer Valka is looking for a home with friends who are also on restricted grazing. She will happily live out full time, with the potential of being stabled part time, if needed, but she would need to be introduced to this slowly. Important stuff

Valka can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Valka is not suitable to be worked.

History

Valka came into the farm back in 2024 as part of a welfare case, alongside 4 other ponies
