Meet Bentley

Bentley was born at Hall Farm so he has only known kindness in his short life. Initially he relied on the other babies in the herd to take the lead, but in recent months he has become more independent as his confidence has grown. Bentley is proving to be a polite little youngster who is willing to learn. He is still very green, so he will benefit from a rehomer who has some experience with youngsters to continue his education. Bentley may have the possibility to be backed as a lead rein rein pony when older if his rehomer wished to do so, but this will depend very much on how he develops. This would be for a small child only with a maximum weight of 3 stones as Bentley is unlikely to be much over 12.0hh when fully grown. We are equally happy for him to remain as a non-ridden companion to others with similar dietary requirements. Bentley is a cute little chap who should have a bright future ahead.
Important stuff
This horse is based at Hall Farm, where we’ve been managing a strangles outbreak in some of our horses. They have been screened using guttural pouch lavage (the gold standard test), completed a full course of strangles vaccinations, and spent time in quarantine in a green zone paddock. They are now available for rehoming as part of our phased return to normal activities.
Bentley could be worked in the future.
History
Bentleys' mother was a prosecution case who was in foal on arrival at Hall Farm. Bentley was born in May 2022
