Meet Daiquiri

Daiquiri was born at Hall Farm in March 2023 so she really is a blank canvas. She has the sweetest nature and an adorable character. She loves her friends in the herd and she thoroughly enjoys human attention. She loves fuss and cuddles. Daiquiri has proved to be a quick and willing learner. She is now looking for a home with previous experience of youngsters where she can continue her education and build on what she knows. Lessons learnt at this age will provide her with skills for the future, so it is vital she is taught the right way to give her the best possible start. It is possible Daiquiri could become a lead rein pony in the future for a small child, although this will depend very much on how she matures. She would have a maximum rider weight of 4.0 to 4.5 stones as she is unlikely to be more than 12.2hh when mature. Daiquiri could have a very happy future solely as a non-ridden companion or as a potential lead rein pony, and we are confident she will make a success of either career.
Important stuff
This horse is based at Hall Farm, where we’ve been managing a strangles outbreak in some of our horses. They have been screened using guttural pouch lavage (the gold standard test), completed a full course of strangles vaccinations, and spent time in quarantine in a green zone paddock. They are now available for rehoming as part of our phased return to normal activities.
Daiquiri could be worked in the future.
History
Daiquiri was born at Hall Farm in March 2023 after her pregnant mother arrived as a welfare concern.
