Meet Nikau

Sweet Nikau is now looking for his new home as a youngster. As Nikau is still quite young he will be looking for someone who is interested in handling youngsters and showing them the big wide world. Nikau is good to catch and lead though he can be a little slow at times when he realises he has to leave his friends. He is good to groom and have his feet done by the farrier, he can just get a little impatient if he has been in for a while, but we feel this will come with time as he gets older. Nikau's estimated adult height is 15.2hh and we feel he may be a suitable ridden horse once old enough, but he will need to be assessed by a vet at the age of 4 before he can start any groundwork, and his rider weight will need to be 15% of his ideal weight. Nikau is a very friendly and cuddly boy who just loves being out with friends that he can play with. He is also happy to be stabled for a short period of time somewhere where he can still see his friends. If you think that Nikau sounds like the youngster for you, please apply online.
