Meet Kelby (Sven)

Sven is ready to rehome as a youngster for handling with the potential to be backed to ride when he is 4 years old or older. He requires a very experienced and knowledgeable home with a confident handler. Sven came into us relatively unhandled, and was quite reluctant to interact with his groom when he first arrived. His groom has worked incredibly hard to gain his trust and increase his confidence while he has been here and he has come on immensely. He is good to catch, handle, groom, and for the vet and farrier. He is currently living out with a rug and shelter, but will happily come into a stable for a nap and to be groomed. Sven enjoys his turnout and does not like being kept in for long periods of time, so we are looking for a home where he will have access to all year round turnout or where he can be turned out all night or all day. He has the potential to make a nice all round ridden horse when he is old enough (4 years old or older) and we estimate that he will mature to approx 16HH. History

Sven came into Penny Farm as part of a large welfare case and has now been transferred to Belwade Farm. He was found underweight and living in unsuitable conditions.
